Modifying IGES imported drawings

Modifying IGES imported drawings

Modifying IGES imported drawings

(OP)
We have imported an IGES drawing into NX. The geometry seems OK except for some line fonts. We would like to change these.

However we cannot select any entities at all from these imported drawings. It seems that nothing on the drawing can be selected.

Do you know the reason for this and how can we fix this?

RE: Modifying IGES imported drawings

Are the lines view dependent to the drawing view? Expand view should allow you to work on them.

There is a GRIP program that will convert view dependent geometry to model geometry.

Can you please indicate where we can find this command (expand view)? UG is fairly new to us and it is not our main software.

RE: Modifying IGES imported drawings

In drafting mode, Right Mouse Button on a view. In the popup menu will be Expand.
