Laminated greenhouse support beam?

Laminated greenhouse support beam?

Laminated greenhouse support beam?

(OP)
I have a concrete slab... 12'x 20' at the back of my duplex.

have a roof over hang at about 8'.

I would like to find a source of laminated supports that would let me build a greenhouse on this slap attached to the overhang.

I havent been able to find any source that manufacture this.

Thanks
Gary T

RE: Laminated greenhouse support beam?

You might want to consider keeping the framing of the greenhouse independant from the house, with a flexible, waterproof joint between them.  The expansion/contraction charactoristics is very different for the two types of construction.  If you are looking at a "package" greenhouse, check with the supplier, they would be able to supply connection details.
