Better Spatial Rainfall Input To Flood Estimation

Better Spatial Rainfall Input To Flood Estimation

Better Spatial Rainfall Input To Flood Estimation

(OP)
I am Doing a research, to find a better spatial representation to a true rainfall field in areas where there is rain gauge data or/and radar data. The options i am looking are merging of radar and rain gauge field and use for flood estimation but the overlapping period is limited in a place where my research doing, south africa. so the other option can be a multi site stochastic generation model,up to now i didnt decided which model to use. However, the multisite daily stochastic generation model by D.Wilks(1998), Extension of a single site model, looks attractive.
so i am looking some response which can help me in my research progress.
Thank you!
