What formula is used to calculate flow using differential pressure in pipes? Are any other variables taken into consideration?

Darcy's equations is usually used.  There are other variables:

viscosity, density, pipe roughness, pipe diameter, etc.

maybe you should take a class in fundamental fluid dynamics?
