Geotechnical Portion of PE Exam

I am teaching a PE exam review course this fall as part of a continuing education program at a local college. The objective is to prepare the students for the October 24 exam in Civil (Structural). My geotechnical counterpart will not be able to participate in the course. Advice on relevant geotechnical areas to review is welcome. I will have 3 to 6 hours of class time to devote to geotechnical.

Thanks
