Anyone have experience with Mercury Outboard ECUs?

(OP)
Hello:
i am a newer member here and find it a very helpful place.  I am would like to learn more about ECUs and play with them a bit.  I see guys fiddling with the ECUs in their racecars all the time and the internet is full of help for this.  My situation is a little more difficult.  I am wanting to apply this to my outboard motor. The ECU is able to have the fuel map recurved via an EEPROM and a few folks can do that.  I'd like to get in the ECU and possible emmulate or at least mod the maps.
BTW:  This outboard produces 300HP and is used in 1/4 mile drag racing.

Thanks,
Jason
