Frequency droop test

Frequency droop test

(OP)
Hi. I´m looking for a standard procedure to perform a frequency droop test in a 70 MW steam turbine electric plant. Thanks.

RE: Frequency droop test

Suggestion: Try to follow the set assembling manufacturer/firm instructions since there will be a diversity of products involved from different manufacturers. Also, the test will depend on the 70MW unit operation, whether it operates as an individual power supply or it is tied to other gensets in parallel, which implies different frequency droop curves.
