Cut Extrude

Cut Extrude

(OP)
Is it possible to cut extrude through individual features rather than through the entire solid body in a part file.

RE: Cut Extrude

As far as I know...the only was is to create a plane where you want to start your sketch, then cut-extrude up to a surface or plane where you want it to end.

RE: Cut Extrude

hi
if the features are modelled as seperate solid bodies then
Try setting featurescope to the cut extrude feature.

u can select individual bodies through which the cut extrude has to pass

best of luck

RE: Cut Extrude

I am assuming you are using all the appropriate sketch locations and end conditions (up to surface, two directions, etc., etc.)?  I know it sounds like a dumb question but we get simpler and "apparently" obvious stuff asked sometimes.
