Slurry pump

(OP)
What is the best pump to use for slurry service?

RE: Slurry pump

Hello,

It's impossible to answer this question without having the specifics of the slurry. But one quick way to find out is to determine what other companies having the same or similar slurries use. If others are using a specific type of pump successfully, then you will have your answer!

RE: Slurry pump

For ammoniumphosphate slurry we use Wilfly PuMps for about 30-years(80-87% solids),SG-1.5,Temp.125-130deg C

RE: Slurry pump

Since the variables are many and ris2 didn't submit any detail on what is the slurry composed of, the least I can do is suggest to read a Chem. Eng. article published April 25, 1977 titled Slurry pump selection and application by J. Ingemar Dalstad, of Morris Pumps, Inc (McGraw-Hill).

RE: Slurry pump

If you are looking for a pump that can help you work with slurries you should try discflo pumps. There is nothing more effective. Try www.discflo.com

RE: Slurry pump

If it's for mining slurry, contact Metso, GIW, Warman.
