Pro/Engineer: Producing Springs

Pro/Engineer: Producing Springs

(OP)
Does anyone know if there is a library of Pro/Engineer generated springs available or has someone developed a program ??  I have been creating simple springs using 'Create.. Protrusion.. Advanced .. Helical Sweep.' commands but the final result isn't very good (ie, if the ends need to be gound square or closed, etc). I could create curves etc but I believe that there must be another way......

Springs, as simple as they are, are tough to model. The complexity depends on how you want the model to change in your assembly. There are lots of free models out there.
You may not get what you want.
