try http://www.thomasregister.com/ they have thousands of AuTocad drawings and symbols for free.

Hi Imackie,

If you post your e-mail I will send you a "database" containing most of the IEC symbols (if thats the standard you are looking for).

Hi Tomol, hope you don't mind but i would be very interested in any form of IEC symbol list or database.  I've had to draw most of mine from scratch so far.

If you wouldn't mind emailing anything you have.

A great library of standard electrical symbols is available for AutoCad. The symbols are located in a pull down menu. All symbols are attributable and are drag and dropped into Autocad from a thumbnail preview screen. This is a must for AutoCad users. For more info you have to email accudraft@comcast.net
