Where and how to modify config.pro

Where and how to modify config.pro

Where and how to modify config.pro

(OP)
I need to modify config.pro for drawings, but I don't know where to do this. Please give me specific steps on how to change config.pro. I have to change to 'save_drawing_picture_file'. I was told to either do it in "start in", the proe text, or utilities/preferences. The problem being I have never used proe and don't know how to even get to any of these places.

RE: Where and how to modify config.pro

Dear dpuiatti
go to utility---> preferences---> edit config----->
then select the config pro which is in session (either from bin or your own directory).
select congif pro.. pro table will be activated press #F4, all options are visible from here. select the required field and save the config.pro in working directory.
then go to: utility---> preferences--->loadt config----->
you will get required result.

RE: Where and how to modify config.pro

You can also do an NT search for config.pro.
You can edit it with notepad. THis allows you to document you changes as well as allowing the change to be global.

Using notepad is my preferred method.

RE: Where and how to modify config.pro

If you want to change the way your drawings look you may need to edit your dtl file not your config.pro

RE: Where and how to modify config.pro

for editing drawings
you have to open the drawing file first
then go to advanced and draw set up
a window opens showing you all options you can edit
you can save this as drawsetup.dtl to use in other drawings also
