Hi,
I am a beginner in ansys5.4, am a mechanical engineer graduating this June 2001.
If there are any complete tutorials available in Ansys please refer me the link..
Also, the present problem I am trying to solve in ansys in creating confusion for me..
One-Dimension Steady State problem..A pin fin, end insulated, convecting to air around it viz. at a temperature To and conv. coeff is 'h', and the base Temperature T..The fin is cirucular in Cross section and end-insulated. I need to get the temperature distribution along the length of the fin. i am having trouble selecting the element type, and getting the post-processor output..kindly help if you can...

I would recommend re-posting this to the Finite Element Analysis Engineering group.  There are plenty of people who can answer this question, who may not be looking on this area of the site.
