(OP)
I consider myself well qualified to determine which soils are suitable and the means necessary (lifts, moisture, compactor, compaction duration, etc.)without a proctor,to attain 95% or better density for subgrade of road construction in VIRGINIA. However I am relocating to North Central Florida. Any suggestions or tips on: 1) suitable & unsuitable soils (limerock included); 2) ideal moisture content; 3) compaction methods; 4)dealing with high water table.; 5)etc.; - for highway construction in Florida. I would like to seek employment well informed. Thanks, Lawg
