Crane Technical Paper 410 provides a basic equation for the calculation of pressure drop across orifices:

q = (Cd*A)/(SQRT(1-B^4)))*SQRT(2gh)

or

q = CA*SQRT(2gh)

My question is:  Does this equation hold for high pressure drops (approximately 80-85 psi) over very small orifices (~0.05" in diameter)?  Are there better correlations for orifices this small with pressure differentials this high?

Also, for further clarification, this is a liquid system.
