Render-to-file as hidden line

Render-to-file as hidden line

Render-to-file as hidden line

(OP)
I can render my 3D object to a file but, I want it to look like a line drawing without showing hidden lines.  Rendering to a file produces either a solid color or black surface image. Saving the file as an image produces the required line drawing but, all lines are shown which is messy.

RE: Render-to-file as hidden line

So the final product do you want a image file or a plot file or a dwf file or a dxb file ?? that is the question cause if you want an image file just set up a raster printer to output the format you want it in IE jpg, tif, bmp, etc and do a hide plot in a viewport
same with the others just remember the hide plot of the viewport and that can be accessed thru the properties of the viewport

The final product should be an image file(bmp etc.) for inserting into Excel.  My CAD man is using the Export command.  He can't seem to set up our printer to output anything except .plt or just print.
