"Checking Entity" Ire

"Checking Entity" Ire

"Checking Entity" Ire

(OP)
Win2k  ACAD2kiSR2
On some drawings upon opening, the final task before giving me the command line is  a  "Checking entity #1234 Menu Loaded" (1234 = #1 thru #n)   I dunno where this entity checking came from (I checked Appload et c) but it's making me crazy. (er)  Anyone reckernize it and know how to send it on its way?

Thanks muchly . . . . . Rocky

RE: "Checking Entity" Ire

Are these standard Autocad drawings?  Which release?  2D or 3D?  Does it happen on all drawings?

RE: "Checking Entity" Ire

Open one of the offending drawings, and type "menuload" at the command line, and see if there is a menu loaded that you do not recognize.

ACAD2ki SR2 2d
MENULOAD = ACAD  and  EXPRESS.

Exsqueeze me, I erred: the dreaded "Entity Check" appears to be on all drawings, including some imports from other offices.

Back to ya . . . Rocky
