I have a refrigeration project that requires temperature control using PID and a Micrologix 1000. Does anybody know if there is somewhere I can obtain the ladder logic to create a PID algorthim in the Micrologix 1000.

Are you sure you need PID algorythm?
How you will perform the P (proportional) part of regulation?

Thanks for the reply.
I have been thinking about this project and ahve decided it only requires the solenoid to have "on off" control with a differential.
For future reference do you know of if there is a PID programme for the Micrologix 1000.

Thanks for the link I have downloaded the file. I have looked for Micrologix 1000 PID in the knowledgebase and to date have not found anything.
I will keep looking
