BTU estimation for an AC

BTU estimation for an AC

BTU estimation for an AC

(OP)
Does anybody have a simple way of calculating the BTU required of an AC required in a small room and also the factory shopfloor?

RE: BTU estimation for an AC

Hi MM, BTU calculations is depends mainly on the ambient air temperature, humidity(water vapour percentage in the air), number of people etc. For an ambient air temperature 46 deg.C and RH 30% as a thumb rule 12000 BTU/15 sq.m of floor area (assuming a room height is 3-4m)
Hope this would help you!!!
Regards
