Brake Manufacturer ??

Brake Manufacturer ??

Brake Manufacturer ??

(OP)
Greetings...

Is anybody aware of a Brake Manufacturer which has a standard disc brake (mounted to the back of a motor) with a shaft sticking out the back side ?

I need to put an overspeed device on that shaft...and the arrangement which I have prohibits me from placing it anywhere else.

Also, the brake can not be aluminum nor cast iron (nodular iron/ductile iron/spheroidal iron is acceptable).

Thanks for any help !

RE: Brake Manufacturer ??

You might check with Inertia Dynamics.  Depending on the motor size and style, they have a number of single and multiple disc brakes available.

These people have standard brakes but have made their reputation on special mods.
