API-541 Motor more reliable

API-541 Motor more reliable

API-541 Motor more reliable

(OP)
Does anyone specify API motors in non-Petrochemical application for higher reliability?

Do you think the API-specified features will result in more reliable motors?

I see a summary of API features here:
http://www.etimotors.com/API541.htm

Does anyone have a more detailed summary?

RE: API-541 Motor more reliable

Suggestion: It appears that the motor rotor copper bars are more reliable than the aluminum ones. Visit

etc. for more info
