(OP)
is chlorpheniramine maleate soluble in ethanol

RE: solubility

Can you provide a CAS number ?

RE: solubility

This might help a little:

Chlorpheniramine Maleate,
synonym: 2-(p-chloro-alpha-(2-(dimethylamino)ethyl)benzyl)pyridine maleate,
C16H19ClN2•C4H4O4     F.W. 390.86   CASR# 113-92-8

See MSDS at http://www.spectrumchemical.com/MSDS/C4130.pdf
for limited data. E.g., "Soluble in cold water."

Also, "Chlorpheniramine Maleate, 1.0 mg/ml in Methanol" is sold as a Forensic standard.
Also, It seems to be the drug metoclopramide hydrochloride (a water-soluble cationic drug)
