Hi everyone:

Does anyone have experience with the GE D25 IED?  I am considering this device to provide SCADA monitoring and control at several of our distribution substations.

Specifically, I'd be interested in your thoughts about how easy (or difficult) it was for techs to install and set the unit, and whether you feel it's a good value for the money.  If you have the graphical display option, do you use this in place of a power quality meter and/or fault recorder?  Do you use the unit as a PLC or as an RTU?

What other IEDs did you compare against this unit?  And how about GE's customer service - adequate or not?

Any other comments would be extremely helpful.  Thanks in advance!
