Oxidation of ammonia using sodium ypochlorite
Oxidation of ammonia using sodium ypochlorite
(OP)
Can anyone tell me the operating parameters for the oxidation of ammonia using sodium hypochlorite. For example, does it require a certain pH, can it be controlled by redox potential and does it need a certain residence time for completion?

FWIW, through a Google search I found some articles that may be of interest:

Chlorination is one of the steps, among others, analysed in these articles. Good luck.
