Some questions in relation to Femap 8.2

Some questions in relation to Femap 8.2

(OP)
I started a couple of days ago working with Femap. But while solving a wiremodel. There will always be the following error:

0 warning(s) and 1 error(s) occured during analysis. Review results carefully.

Another questions is: how can I obtain the reaction forces and displacements printed in a list?

RE: Some questions in relation to Femap 8.2

Are you using FEMAP Structural Solver, or are you using another program to solve the system after preprocessing with FEMAP?

RE: Some questions in relation to Femap 8.2

(OP)
I am using the FEMAP structural solver

RE: Some questions in relation to Femap 8.2

Can't really help you with the error message, since I'm using ABAQUS as solver. But there may be a problem with boundary conditions that do not sufficiently constrain your model.

To write results into a file you can use the command List/Output/Unformatted (or Formatted, what ever you prefer). Previously you have to chosse the destination with List/Destination

Thanks Rudolf for your help with my second problem, that is solved now, but the first one is still a problem.

Is there a possibility to make an attachment, so that I can add my FEMAP-file?

RE: Some questions in relation to Femap 8.2

Hi StructuralGenius

I don't know how to attach a file in this forum. But you can send a NEUTRAL-file to femap@bluemail.ch. I'll have a quick look.

Rudolf
