bench checking a water exposed inverter

(OP)
Have a Toshiba inverter that was exposed to wet conditions for an extended time. This unit was installed in a generator/alternator test stand. The motor is a 30 hp, 400 hz, 12,000 rpm Reuland, which is frozen solid and is to be replaced. The drive seems to have done a little better and has light corrosion on the steel portions of the enclosure. I want to know if there are some electrical checks I can make without connecting to 460V. Any suggestions? This test stand was left in the rain for about two years, Its never been run.
