DMU law simulation

(OP)
Hi all
I'm working on a model in DMU Kinematik workbench V5R7 - and I want to perform a LAW Simulation "time based".I learn from on - line doc. how to do it, and it works, conform the procedure - but the problem is that I can't figure out what's the diffrence from Simulatind with Commans - animation looks the same - What should I notice...when is useful a Law Simulation. The law is for ex.

Mechanism.1/listcmd/Command1./Angle = Mechanism.1/KINTime/1s*10mm

Seconds*Degrees ? - What that means to be!? 10mm of space in 1 sec.?
THANKS & REGARDS
