Dimension Precision

Dimension Precision

Dimension Precision

(OP)
Sometimes, if I have a dimension that is a round number (23mm, for example), the dimension in the drawing shows only "23", not "23.00" or whatever my desired precision is. Any idea why this is happening, or how to fix it?

RE: Dimension Precision

"Tools --> Options --> Document Properties" and set "Trailing zeroes" to "Show"

Good and evil: wrap them up and disguise it as people.

RE: Dimension Precision

Ooooo.... ya haven't played with all the tools options stuff yet?  Treat yourself to an hour or two or fun and excitement and just ding around in there (dummy files open only!!!!).  You will learn a lot of useful stuff and save yourself a lot of research time later.

3/4 of all the Spam produced goes to Hawaii - shame that's not true of SPAM also.......

RE: Dimension Precision

But just keep in mind that if you hit "Reset Defaults", but then "cancel" out of the dialog box...it's too late b/s the "reset" works like an "Apply" button.

And yes, I learned this the hard way
