Model conversion between Unix & Windows

Model conversion between Unix & Windows

(OP)
Hi,
I'm working with I-DEAS 9 under HP-UX 11.00. Today I just received a model from my friend. He works with I-DEAS 9 too but under Windows 2000.
I can not opent his model. I-DEAS gives me an error message about incompatibility between the model & the hardware.

Is there a tool to solve this problem ?

Thank in advance,

VnPenguin

RE: Model conversion between Unix & Windows

hi,
ask your friend to export to Archive or Ideas Library Data format. You cannot open direct using mf1/mf2 format. Don't worry, using this conversion the history of the part still remain.
