Positioining form tools - SW bug?

Positioining form tools - SW bug?

Positioining form tools - SW bug?

(OP)
Has anyone seen and found a workaround for the following bug? I don't remember what release or service pack it was but one day when trying to use a form tool (any form tool), I was unable to position the form correctly in XY. One of the dimensions works OK but the other but the position of the other changes when the sketch is left and the model re-built. It is possible to fudge the dimension in question but should there be any equations using the erronious dimension, they will all be wrong too.
I spoke to the support people but they couldn't fix my example part and couldn't recreate the problem.

RE: Positioining form tools - SW bug?

I just used the Louver in SW03 SP4.0 and worked fine. The forming tool may not come in the exact way you want it. That's why you should use the Tools\Sketch Tools\Modify then you can adjust the sketch in the direction you want.

Or it could have been your part itself. It might have corrupted, that's why support couldn't fix it.
