Pro-E Decryptor is Dead

Pro-E Decryptor is Dead

Pro-E Decryptor is Dead

(OP)
Well a company that we do work with was told by a ptc rep that  ptc cannot come to an agreement with SW on the decryptor that was supposed to be in SW2003. They have also threatened legal action against SW if it shows up in the future. I am a little ticked since it was advertised when we bought SW2003 we could bring in newer Pro-E files. Of course all of our customers that have Pro-e have the newer version now.

RE: Pro-E Decryptor is Dead

If PTC don't get off their prima donna high horse and auit following the mistakes of past CAD industry majors, they are going to be dead also - which has eveything to to with business decisions and nothing to do with software quality.

3/4 of all the Spam produced goes to Hawaii - shame that's not true of SPAM also.......

RE: Pro-E Decryptor is Dead

Really, I don't understand how it can be illegal to read someone else's file format.  Unless there are issues with how SW got the technology, they are just being cowed by the threat of litigation.

Good and evil: wrap them up and disguise it as people.
