CATIA V4 MESH Relations for Mesh Element size?

CATIA V4 MESH Relations for Mesh Element size?

CATIA V4 MESH Relations for Mesh Element size?

(OP)
Hello,

I'm using the CATIA FEM and ANSYS licences to mesh a CatiaV4 model. I was wondering if I can link the local element sizes to parameters to make it easier to change elements with out having to select each individually.

If this is possible please let me know how and where I would set up these Parameters and enter them in the Local Mesh Specs dialog window.

Thank you,
Michael

Hi,
Which type of mesh ? 1D ? 2D ? 3D ?
Which method you use ? frontal, 4 edges ? mapped mesh ? octree ?

I'm using Octree for 3d surface meshing.

Hi,
I don't think you can do that. Each face/surface should be selected manually to modify meshing parameters.
I never try batch mode with meshing job.
Cheers,
