I'm looking for some links, tutorials, samples and/or codes about SolidWorks API Programming. Anything will be welcome.
Thanks.

RE: SolidWorks API Programming

This subject comes up once in a while.  Have you done a keyword search of this forum for API?

Good and evil: wrap them up and disguise it as people.

RE: SolidWorks API Programming

You can also refer to the SolidWorks API help bundled with the software. This will give you a guide to the object library available through the API.

RE: SolidWorks API Programming

Do you hae any VB or C++ experience, or are you starting from scratch?

There are some basic VB books that I've recommended in recent threads.  Get VB literate before you try to pick up SW API.

     What does Xonga mean?

I started looking for a program that could handle SW VBA code snippets and ended up writing a product review for Solid Solutions Advanced a few months ago. You can go to http://www.d-digest.com/ssa/V2I4/V2I4.html to check it out. When they did the cut and paste they blew it – None of the images are large enough to be read and it makes a lot more sense when they are. If you download and install that program – be sure to download the library of SW snippets that I stored with them – they do come in handy. If you don’t want to do that – email me at LeeB34@Cox.net and I will send you an RTF file with them in it.

You might also want to check out last months Solid Solutions Advanced at http://www.d-digest.com/ssa/V2I7/V2I7.html - I wrote an article entitled KeyPad Macros and there are about 30 macros included that add some functionality to the KeyPad – you might find some of them useful – if nothing else – they are fairly good samples of what is needed to zoom and pan around the screen.
