Pro-process selecting sub-assembly parts

Good Day Pro/E Users:

I have been out of touch for over a year with Pro/E (working with SolidWorks)so I need a refresher.

question:
In the pro-process mode when you are creating your steps can you select a part with in a sub-assembly or do you have to select the whole sub-assembly?

thanks for you time

RE: Pro-process selecting sub-assembly parts

Yes, you can.

But if you wish to manipulate a sub-assembly it's better to create first a Fab Unit.

-Hora.
