Hydraulic Accumulatrs over 3000 psi

(OP)
Dear Srs.

In our projects of hydraulic accumulators, in general we work with ASME Sec. VIII div 2 because every design pressure exceds 3000 psi. Is this procedure correct ?
We can use div 1 for this accumulators ?
What are the points to give special attention in order to work with div 2 for vessels made of stainless steel with volume of 1 to 60 liters and made from seamless tubes with welded caps and openings for valves in the caps.

Thanks for all comments.

RE: Hydraulic Accumulatrs over 3000 psi

Vessels of any pressure may be constructed to division 1 as long as all the requirements of that division are met.  However, there are other considerations, including economy of money and material that should be factored into the design conformance decision.
