Is it possible to create an icon in Catia V5

Is it possible to create an icon in Catia V5

Is it possible to create an icon in Catia V5

(OP)
I would like to create an icon in V5 which could be placed where I'd like and which would execute a .exe file when clicked.
Does anyone know to to do this?

Thanks for help.

RE: Is it possible to create an icon in Catia V5

Yes you can create Icons that can be associated to any Catia command and I think to macros also. Then add the created icon as a bitmap file into the icon directory.
-see bottom of post
Then link the icon to the macro in the Customize Icon Browser.

Another good website for CatiaV5 is listed below along with the Link to my post about adding User Icons to Catia.

Answer to my Post about adding icons
Hello Michael,

create your own icons as bitmaps, 16x16 pixel for the small, 22x22 pixels for the large icons, and place them in "C.\Program Files\Dassault Systemes\B10\intel_a\resources\graphic\icons\small" or "...\large".

Then restart CATIA and it should work.

Good luck,

Stephan
