Importing text attributes in borders

Importing text attributes in borders

(OP)
G’Day, I was just wondering if there is any way of transferring text attributes from an A3 drawing border to an A2 drawing border?
I have about 60 Schematics that need stuff added and there is no room, so we need to up the drawing border size, and it will take me forever to do it manually.

RE: Importing text attributes in borders

Hi,
Yes there is a way. Do you have the Express tools? They have a attribute export and import in the block section of the tools. You can also write programs to do it also.

RE: Importing text attributes in borders

Another way is to open the A3 border file save it to a new file. Scale the entire contents about 0,0 by 1.4 and resave. This should make an A2. The same scaling factor can be used for any Ax to Ax+1 paper size. For Ax to  Ax-1 paper sizes use a scaling factor of 0.7. They are not exact, but will do to fit the sheet. I have done this to create borders for All A landscape and portrait sizes!!
