I'm making a three phase load flow program in c++, and I need any information about the optimitation for sparse linear aystems.
 Of course if anyone got anything usefull about load flow, it will be great!!

One of the earlier investigations (as applied to power systems) is in a paper by Sato and Tinney in IEEE PAS, December 1963.  Tinney has authored a number of papers on taking advantage of matrix sparsity.  Try a author search on his name.
