Stress Stiffening in I-DEAS

Stress Stiffening in I-DEAS

Stress Stiffening in I-DEAS

(OP)
Does anyone know how to run a stress stiffened model in I-DEAS? Can I run it using the linear solver, or do I have to run a non-linear solution?

RE: Stress Stiffening in I-DEAS

As the stress-stiffening effect is inherently nonlinear, this must be done as part of a nonlinear analysis. I don't use IDEAS as a solver, so I can't help beyond this point.
