Is there any way to copy the column widths when doing a copy in Excel?

RE: copy column widths - Excel

You have to do a separate Paste operation:
Paste Special > Formats

RE: copy column widths - Excel

drain:

Follow dsi's directions, but instead of selecting "Formats", select "Column widths".  It may not be an option in versions earlier than excel 2000... If your version doesn't have "Column widths" as an option, "Formats" will work too.
