What is the coefficient of friction for concrete on concrete.  Thanks for any help.

That's an interesting question.  What is your application?

The coefficient of friction for concrete on rock is often quoted as 0.30 to 0.4. (whether this is of any help??)

     is taken generally as 0.4 in the UK
     
     This is listed in Table 19 of BS 5975 for various
     contact materials

Are you talking about

1 concrete cast on top of previously cast concrete ? in which case the surface preparation of the first layer is a factor.

2 or between a concrete block and a concrete surface ? again the finishes on both surfaces are important.

The application is for the horizontal crack on an ogee weir.
