Anti-Scalents and Rust Inhibitors - Formulations?

Anti-Scalents and Rust Inhibitors - Formulations?

Anti-Scalents and Rust Inhibitors - Formulations?

(OP)
We are a medium to small chemical manufacturing facility located in the heart of the Caribbean.
We want to know of a formulation to inject an anti-scalent & rust inhibitor into a large hotel water system.
Water will be a combination of Post RO treated water and a local water back-up supply. System includes: Condensor, Cooling Tower and Heat Exchanger.
Please note that the condensor is a closed-loop type of system, and has copper within this system.
Our concern is the copper.

RE: Anti-Scalents and Rust Inhibitors - Formulations?

In order to select an effective scale and corrosion inhibitor more information is needed on your make up water.  More specifically Hardness, Alkalinity and Silica.

In terms of your concerns regarding copper corrosion.  Azole is commonly used to preven copper corrosion.  It is also necessary to take biocides in to consideration when treating with azoles.
