Viscosity value of gaseous TiCl4
Viscosity value of gaseous TiCl4
(OP)
I need an expression for the viscosity of gaseous TiCl4 (titanium tetrachloride) at around 1000C (800-1200C). Perhaps someone with property predicting software (Aspen or PREDICT) could run a couple of temperatures so I can fit a curve? If so I'd be very greatful.
Thanks in advance,

RE: Viscosity value of gaseous TiCl4
800C, 0.033 cP
900C, 0.035 cP
1000C, 0.038 cP
If you've got any data on the viscosities, I strongly suggest you use it (or find some) to do a reality check on these numbers. By the way, I assumed low pressure, 20 psia though pressure does not have a significant effect on gas viscosity until you get quite high.

The values you posted are a little higher than the calculated ones, but I will use then to construct a sensitivity analysis. Can you provide a reference for the values you posted so I can quote it in the final report?
Thank you for you assistance with this unusual request!
