i have a problem, when ever i try and plot, it will only print out the wireframe, despite what i have on my screen, which is "SHADED". is there any way to plot it out "SHADED" or "HIDDEN" ?

RE: plotting

I think you need to render to do plot. What version of AutoCAD do you have? Try rendering (under 'view' in ACAD 14)

RE: plotting

its AutoCAD Architectural Desktop Release 2, thanks, but when i try to render and plot, it wont recognize the plotter, ive tried rendering and then opening it in MS Paint Brush, but it dont wanna work either.

RE: plotting

ill rephase the problem, as i dont know that much about what im talking about: when i plot it will only plot the wireframe, despit what i have displayed on my screen, the plotter is only hooked up to that somputer and is only regognized by AutoCAD, MS paint brush wont work with it at all, as well as any and all other drawing or graphic programs, is there any way to make it plot "HIDDEN" or "GAOURAD SHADED" (i think thats how u spell it?) or, is it possible to render it, save it, then load it back in as "RASTER IMAGE" can i do that? As usual, any and all help is appretiated and time is sadly, of the essence. Thanks BrianMcG, when i read Render, it made me think, So THANKS BE TO YOU!!!!
