Aluminium washers from sheet

Aluminium washers from sheet

Aluminium washers from sheet

(OP)
Hello Engineers,

I want to make 1" O.D. X 10 mm I.D. washers from
5 mm thick aluminium sheet. How much minimum gap should be
kept between two adjacent washers while pressing.
What is the maximum number of washers that can be pressed
in a single shot. I have a mechanical press of 50 tons.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Best regards,
Bhavesh Dhruve

RE: Aluminium washers from sheet

Bhavesh i would leave a metal thickness between each washer, you would have to specify what grade of aluminium you are using and what the clearance is on your die to work out how many you can do in one one hit
