Changing Drawing Format

Changing Drawing Format

Changing Drawing Format

(OP)
Dear Folks;

Is it possible to swap the drawing border of an existing solidworks drawing with a new drawing border ?

How is this done ?

Best Regards

Adrian D

RE: Changing Drawing Format

Right-click on the white space of your drawing (don't active a drawing view), select Properties, under Sheet Format select Browse.  Browse for the new border.  Don't forget to change your sheet size if required.

RE: Changing Drawing Format

Beat me to it, MadMango.  But it does ilustrate somthing about SW which is really useful.  I have to keep reminding myself to do it even now (we started on SW 97).

SW was written Window native.  It uses the standard Windows methodology to the max (yeah, I know - good AND bad).  Whenever you need to know about or change the properties of any "object", always try a right-click!!!
