Does anyone have any information how to design common seaplane hull!

RE: Design of seaplane hull

The old NACA archives are loaded with information about Hull design. The old Technical Reports and Technical Notes can provide some good information. The archive can be found at http://naca.larc.nasa.gov/

Good Luck!

RE: Design of seaplane hull

HI BUD - CORRECTION - A SEAPLANE OR FLOATPLANE - DOES NOT HAVE A HULL - IT HAS A FUSELAGE - A SEAPLANE IS SUPPORTED OUT OF THE WATER ON FLOATS - LIKE A DHC BEAVER - THE FUSELAGE DOES NOT TOUCH THE WATER - A FLYING BOAT - WHETHER AMPHIBIOUS OR NOT - HAS ITS HULL RESTING IN THE WATER - THEREFORE NEEDS A MARINE TYPE HULL - THATS WHY ITS CALLED A FLYING BOAT . SEE BOEING B.314 , SHORT SUNDERLAND , PBY CATALINA , SIKORSKY S-42 , MARTIN MARS - AND IN MODERN ONES JAP SHIN MEIWA .
ANYTHING I CAN HELP WITH PLS ASK - I LOVE FLYING BOATS -IF THATS WHAT TYPE YOU MEAN - J.C.

bystrik,
The following references should get you started.  By the way, you will note in these references (which include the FAA, seaplane developers in the USA and UK, and numerous researchers) that they all associate the words “seaplane” and “hull” without any sense of embarrassment and hardly any upper-case text.
