Has anyone found a reasonible technology for treatment of MTBE  & TBA groundwater?  My applications are generally gasoile stations so equipment size and cost are big drivers.  I have used biofiltration but have found space and flow limitations.

RE: MTBE / TBA

Need more specifics - are you talking about above ground treatment or in situ?  We have had good results in situ with either direct chemical oxidation or enhanced aerobic biodegredation...technique varies depending on site conditions.  Oxygen enhancementa, ozone sparging, and (dilute) peroxide are some techniques we have had great success with.

Thanks for your response. I am looking for above ground treatment.

RE: MTBE / TBA

I have had excellent results using Oxi3. Call Chemico at 832-250-1700
