Fluide-Structure Interaction using ANSYS

Fluide-Structure Interaction using ANSYS

(OP)
Hello there,

does anyone has an example of running a simple Fluide/structure interaction with ANSYS ?

I sucessfully performed some purely acoustic computations (baffled circular piston, pulsating sphere, and so on) and the numerical results compares fairly well with the analytical solutions.

However, when it comes to coupled structural/acoustic computations, all I get is nonsense. More specifically, the modal analysis results make perfect sense, but harmonic analysis results are rubbish.  Does anyone has a example of sucessfull modeling (I am struggling with the mass/spring/open tube system right now ...)?

A script featuring harmonic response of a fluid/structural model would help a lot.
