Powder actuated anchors

(OP)
Hi
Im trying to find information on the allowable load for powder actuated anchors. Im on a project where the GC is using them to connect wood plates to structural steel and then anchoring wood trusses to the plates.
Thanks
Wayne Johnson

RE: Powder actuated anchors

One of the largest producers of powder actuated fasteners is Hilti.  Check their website, their handbook of fastener loads should be on line.  If not, repost with the size of the fasteners, powder loads being used and materials fastened to, and I try to find it in my copy of their handbook.

WJ2K2:
As noted by jheidt, contact the people at Hilti (US):
www.us.hilti.com

or ITW/Ramset at:
www.ramset-redhead.com

Both are reputable companies that have been in business for years and they provide excellent technical services for their respective products.
